Former Liverpool player: Mohamed Salah will not leave at the end of the season on one condition

Former Liverpool midfielder, Gary McAllister, believes that winger and top scorer for the Reds, Mohamed Salah, may not leave at the end of the season despite speculation.

Mohamed Salah has been heavily linked recently with a potential departure from Liverpool and a move to Al-Hilal or Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Professional League.

But the Scot believes that Mohamed Salah may stay after the current season under one condition, as revealed on the radio show "No Tippy Tappy Football". McAllister said: "I believe Mohamed Salah will definitely stay at Liverpool after this season." He added: "There is still a lot for Mohamed Salah to achieve with Liverpool. He still has a lot in his locker, and therefore, he may not consider moving to the Saudi league." He continued: "If Liverpool succeeds in winning two titles this season or even one, why would he want to leave? Because he will want to continue playing in high-level competitions." He went on: "He doesn't need to return to Arab leagues and lower his level. He can move to Saudi Arabia after two or three years, especially since his performance at Liverpool has been fantastic this season." He added: "Liverpool is a contender for the European League title and tops the Premier League table, so they will return to the Champions League next season." He concluded: "I think this is what Mohamed Salah wants with Liverpool. He can move to any other league later."
