Liverpool sporting director decides to leave at the end of the season
British press reports revealed that Liverpool's sporting director, Julian Ward, will leave his post at the end of the 2022/2023 season.
Julian Ward took over as Liverpool's sporting director, succeeding Michael Edwards at the end of last season, but his term appears to be short-lived.
The British newspaper, “Liverpool Echo”, confirmed that the English club was surprised and disappointed by the decision of sporting director Julian Ward, who decided to leave at the end of the season.
And it won't stop here, as there is also Liverpool's director of research Ian Graham, who is likely to leave with team-mate Julian Ward, which puts the club in trouble.
Reports indicated that Julian Ward told Liverpool's management that he wanted to take a break from football, but the club is disappointed with that decision.
Although Julian's term was short, he managed to renew Jurgen Klopp's contract, as well as extend Mohamed Salah's contract, and contract with the duo Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz.
