Dembele would be better for Liverpool than Sancho!
The Englishman John Barnes, the legend of Liverpool, believes that the French player, Ousmane Dembele, the Barcelona winger, will be more suitable for the Merseyside Reds, than Jadon Sancho, the German winger, Borussia Dortmund.
- Dembele is linked to leaving Barcelona, as he refuses to renew his contract, which expires on June 30, 2022, and press reports have claimed that Liverpool wants to include Sancho.
- "First of all, any big player will be linked to the biggest clubs, whether it's Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid, or Barcelona, so the idea of linking to a club means nothing," Barnes told the English network "Being Odds."
- "You just have to look at the player available, how much it will cost, which clubs can afford that, and then make a decision."
- He continued: "With regard to Jadon Sancho, among the clubs rumored to be interested in him, I would say that Manchester United is probably the best destination for him."
- He continued: "In Liverpool, I prefer a more direct player, Jadon is very skilled and very deceitful, but I think that Ousmane Dembele will suit Liverpool among all the players available in this position."
- He continued, "Jadon Sancho will have to choose the club that suits his style of football."
- And he ended his comments by saying: "Of these clubs, Manchester United would be the best fit for Jadon Sancho, but are they interested? Does he want to go there? I don't know."
