Liverpool decides to loan Caoimhín Kelleher... and an English club is waiting for him
Liverpool has decided to loan Irish goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher next season, despite his appearance well in the last season with the Merseyside Reds.
- Caoimhín was promoted from the academy team to the first team, and he played two matches in the Champions League and the English Premier League during the 2020/2021 season, conceding two goals and leaving two clean sheets in two matches.
- And the English "Tribal Football" network said that Liverpool's decision to loan Caoimhín came in order to gain more experience in the first team.
- The network indicated that Ipswich Town, which is active in the English Premier League (Championship), is seeking to sign the 22-year-old.
- Caoimhín loan came after coach Jurgen Klopp saw that it was better to develop more, given his reliance on Brazilian duo Alisson Becker and Spain's Adrian.
