Liverpool plans to eliminate 8 players to raise £ 80m
According to English press reports, Liverpool FC is planning to sell 8 players in the upcoming summer transfer window, in order to raise money, to be used in financing the new deals.
- On Friday, Liverpool signed French defender Ibrahima Konate, coming from Leipzig, Germany, for 36 million pounds.
- The third Premier League ranking seeks to sign new players in order to strengthen the team and compete for titles again next season.
- According to the British "Liverpool Echo", Liverpool wants to sell Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, as the duo club is estimated at 15 million pounds sterling each.
- The newspaper indicated that the loaned trio, Marco Grujić, Harry Wilson, and Takumi Minamino, who spent the 2020/2021 season on loan outside Anfield, wanted the club to sell them.
- In addition to the former players, the Liverpool administration wants to sell three other players, the Nigerian striker, Taiwo Only, and the German goalkeeper, Loris Karius, as well as the young Welsh striker, Ben Woodburn, the newspaper stated.
