With the number of mobile game players increasing to more than 2.6 billion in the past year, mobile gaming has entered the golden age with many more extensive hardware and gaming options.

The new Legion Phone Duel 2 is engineered for extreme performance, with advanced features designed to give mobile gamers a competitive edge.

The new Legion Phone Duel 2 includes advanced ATA 2.0 architecture to provide asymmetric symmetry when playing in a player's preferred landscape mode.

It is intelligently cooled by a combination of a combined passive cooling steam chamber and an active dual turbofan, resulting in a complete thermostat for maximum reliable performance.

The phone works with a Snapdragon 888 5G processor, LPDDR5 memory up to 18 GB, and an internal storage capacity of 512 GB UFS 3.1.

The device features an OLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a resolution of 1808 x 2460 pixels with an average brightness of 800 nits and a peak of 1,300 nits.

And when viewing the screen in landscape mode, the 44MP pop-up camera can be used for live broadcasts or video chats with background removal.

There is a dual rear camera with a 64-megapixel main lens, in addition to a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Two USB-C ports can be used for 90W fast charging, and Lenovo explains that using two USB-C ports simultaneously can fill two separate 2750 mAh phone batteries each in 30 minutes.

The phone comes with 5G connectivity with support for sub-6GHz and mmWave, along with support for two SIM cards for two simultaneous connections.

Four AI-enhanced noise-canceling microphones provide better sound quality even in crowded environments.

To recreate the experience of using a joystick while playing, the phone features four buttons that are enabled through haptic feedback and ultrasound sensors on both sides of the phone.

Lenovo plans to launch the Legion Phone Duel 2 in China this month, and it should arrive in Europe later in May.

The European model is selling for 999 euros (about $ 1,186) with 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a combined charging dock, or 799 euros (about $ 948) as a standalone phone with 12GB and 256GB respectively.
