Klopp on the new investments for Liverpool
Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp, coach of Liverpool FC, described the huge financial investment that the "Reds-owning Fenway Sports Group (FSG)" will get, that the Merseyside Reds will provide consistency during the transfer market and return to what the team was doing before the Corona pandemic.
FSG has agreed with RedBird Capital for an investment of £ 543 million.
The money that Liverpool will receive will help the club continue with plans to expand the "Anfield" stadium, and new deals after the losses the Reds suffered due to the Corona pandemic last year, as there is a large financial loss estimated at 120 million pounds.
When asked about the matter, Klopp said in statements published by the British newspaper "Daily Mail": "As far as I know, this means that this gives us consistency in what is to come. We will have greater financial security."
- He added: "It is good news for us, we have suffered a lot in the past year, due to the Corona pandemic, as is the case like all clubs in the absence of fans."
- He concluded his remarks, saying: "This new investment gives us more safety, and we will continue to do what we were doing before the Corona pandemic."
Klopp comments on the possible participation of Van Dijk and Henderson in the euro
German coach Juergen Klopp, coach of Liverpool FC, praised the Portuguese international, Diogo Jota, the team's striker, after his brilliance with his country, in the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Jota has scored three goals in two matches for Portugal, and Klopp believes Jota will be among the players who have benefited from the international break.
"Diego is going through a good moment, and he showed that during the international break, his brilliance with Portugal is a good thing for us," Klopp said in comments published on the club's official website.
- "For me, these are the rare benefits of an international break. Shaqiri also played well with Switzerland, and Thiago Alcantara played a good role with Spain," he added.
- And he continued: "Yes, there are benefits from the international suspension, but they are not many. All the players have returned and are in good health now, and some of them have achieved real success."
Asked if Henderson, Gomez, and Van Dijk had any prospects that they would be fit to participate in the European Championships this summer with England and the Netherlands, he replied: "I have no idea about the euro, to be honest."
- And he added: "Nothing has changed, they are in the place they should be at the moment, if they are ready they are ready and if they are not ready then I cannot change that, at the moment they are in the rehabilitation stage, so it is not related to me to make the decision ".
- He continued: "When I have news to announce, and now I do not have any news at the moment, there is neither bad nor great news."
- He continues: "There is nothing I can say, the problem is that I am neither a doctor nor a surgeon, I have no idea about it."

- Klopp also talked about the English defender, Nathaniel Phillips, who won the Footballer of the Month award in Liverpool for the month of March, and said: "Nathan is no longer young now, he has been playing football for years, and this is a good thing."
- He continued: "Very happy for him. Receiving the award is completely deserved because he helped us a lot. He is a very brilliant and intelligent man."
- He concluded his remarks, saying: "It is not the biggest prize in the world of football, but it is definitely good for him. We need him as he played before stopping, and we hope that he will be at the same level during the next matches."
