  • The new iMac delivers powerful performance in a design that's just 11.5mm thick, and the iMac is available in a range of colors to match the user's personal style.

  • The device features a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display with 11.3 million pixels, 500 nits per square meter, and more than a billion colors.

  • The new iMac also includes a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, studio-quality microphones, and a six-speaker audio system.

  • Touch ID is coming to iMac for the first time, making it easy to securely log in, make purchases with Apple Pay, or switch user profiles with the touch of a finger.

  • By combining the power and performance of the M1 and macOS Big Sur, applications launch quickly, and challenging workloads such as editing 4K video and working with huge images are faster than ever.

  • The new iMac joins the family of Mac models operating with the M1 chip, including the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini, marking another step forward in Apple's transition to Apple silicon.

  • And iMac comes with a new power connector that is magnetically connected with an Ethernet port and a two-meter cable, and the device features a wide 24-inch Retina display with 4.5K resolution with narrower borders and 11.3 million pixels.

  • With a wide color gamut P3 and over a billion colors, plus 500 nits of brightness, images are even brighter.

  • The screen also features True Tone technology, which automatically adjusts the color temperature as the environment changes, and in addition, the screen features an anti-reflective coating to provide more comfort and ease of reading.

  • Every iMac features two Thunderbolt ports for super-fast data transfers, giving customers options to connect to more devices, including support for up to 6K displays, such as Pro Display XDR.

  • The octa-core iMac provides two additional USB-C ports and features a 1Gbps Ethernet port on the power adapter.

  • The new iMac delivers robust performance over the standard 21.5-inch iMac models, thanks to its high efficiency, unified memory architecture, and 16-core Apple Neural Engine.

  • IMac also takes advantage of the M1 chip's image signal processor and Neural Engine, which enhances the camera's picture quality while reducing noise.

  • For the first time, Touch ID is coming to the iMac, applied wirelessly via the Magic Keyboard, and it uses a dedicated keyboard security component that connects directly to the M1's Secure Enclave, to protect fingerprint data.

  • The new 24-inch iMac is available to order beginning Friday and begins reaching customers in the second half of May.
