Klopp comments on the possibility of Real Madrid training
Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp was asked at the press conference this evening about the possibility of him taking charge of coaching Real Madrid.
Liverpool and Real Madrid meet tomorrow night in the Champions League quarter-finals, where the first-leg match will be held at Alfredo Di Stefano.
Klopp said in response to the possibility of coaching Real Madrid: "At the end of my career, if I only have 3 clubs (Mainz, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool), it is not so bad, is it? I will not regret it."
He continued, "When we travel by plane, we regret that we do not live here! The weather is much better than Spain."
When asked which Spanish club would suit him, he answered in statements published by the English "Liverpool Echo" network: "There are three good clubs in Spain, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid, I will be suitable for them all."
- He added: "The only problem I have is that my Spanish is really bad, you will not enjoy hosting me in Spain with my weak accent."
- He continued: "All clubs have great coaches, Real Mallorca would be a nice choice!"
