Tebas: The departure of Mohamed Salah to Real Madrid and Barcelona is difficult
Javier Tebas, head of the Spanish League, ruled out the idea of Real Madrid or Barcelona contracting Liverpool star Mohamed Salah in the next summer transfer season.
Speculation is hovering strongly about Salah's future with Liverpool, although his contract will continue until 2023.
Salah himself raised speculation about his future through an interview he had with the Spanish newspaper "AS", last December.
Salah opened the door to leave Liverpool, hinting at the possibility of his departure to Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Speculation about Salah and his future with Liverpool has intensified at the present time in light of the poor results achieved by the team.
For his part, Javier Tebas, head of the Spanish League, said in his interview with the "Jamhour Al Talta" program on the Egyptian "On Time Sports" channel: "I think the issue of Real Madrid or Barcelona's contract with Mohamed Salah will be difficult this summer."
He added: "So far, it will not be easy for Salah to move from England, because there will not be enough money, given its price."
He continued: "I think there will not be many transfers in the upcoming summer transfer season, there may be exceptions, but I do not see that."
And he added: "I hope Mohamed Salah will move to Real Madrid or Barcelona, but I think there will be no big transfers."
