Reports: Lukaku may give Manchester United the opportunity to sign an Inter Milan star
Manchester United are planning to seek compensation from Inter Milan due to the latter's failure to pay one of the installments stipulated in Romelu Lukaku's transfer contract in the summer of 2019.
Lukaku joined Inter Milan from Manchester United almost two years ago for 74 million euros, and the Belgian international became one of the most important elements on which coach Antonio Conte relied.
So far, Inter Milan has paid only 24 million euros for Manchester United, and 50 million euros remain to be paid in other installments as part of the agreement between the two clubs.
But Inter Milan failed to pay one of the installments, and therefore, Manchester United is entitled to an additional 5 million as stipulated in the contract.
Manchester United wants to take advantage of the matter by requesting the inclusion of an Inter Milan player in the Mercato next summer and his eyes on Lautaro Martinez or Milan Scriniar, according to the Italian newspaper "Corriere dello Sport".
It is worth noting that Inter Milan is suffering financially in the recent period, but its owners and the owners of the Chinese company "Suning" have confirmed their commitment to support the Nerazzurri, but they are looking for suitable partners to inject more support.
