Red Magic 6 Pro comes with 18 GB of memory
Nubia's Red Magic lineup has proven to be one of the leading phones in the world of gaming smartphones, and the Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro phones are the latest addition to the lineup.
The Red Magic 6 Pro features a 120-watt fast charging, 18 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage and a more robust design, while the remaining specifications are identical on both models.
The Red Magic 6 phones are the first devices to be launched with screens at a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and they include the Snapdragon 888 processor, fan cooling and the Red Magic OS 4 user interface based on Android 11.
The devices feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED FHD + screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 165Hz.
When the screen does not display dynamic content, the refresh rate is reduced to 30Hz, but it can reach speeds of up to 120Hz in menus or applications and up to 165Hz in supported games.
The screen also supports a 360Hz multi-touch sampling rate and 500Hz single-finger sampling rate, along with 10-bit color and an integrated fingerprint scanner underneath.
The distinctive touch-sensitive drivers are back on Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro, and now support a sampling rate of 400Hz to reduce input latency.
There is a cooling air fan that now rotates at up to 18,000 rpm on Red Magic 6 and 20,000 rpm on Red Magic 6 Pro to help maintain temperatures.
Both models are also equipped with several copper heat sinks that enhance cooling.
The company supplied the phones with a triple rear camera with a 64-megapixel primary lens, and there is also an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
The Snapdragon 888 processor is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The Red Magic 6 Pro Transparent Edition comes with 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space.
The Red Magic 6 includes a 5050 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging, which fully charges the battery in 38 minutes.
The Red Magic 6 Pro includes a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 120-watt fast charging, which charges the battery from 0 to 50 percent in just 5 minutes.
Both models come with a headphone jack and are compatible with optional Nubia air-cooling accessories.
The price of the Red Magic 6 starts from 587 dollars for the 8/128 GB version, 634 dollars for the 12/128 GB version, and 680 dollars for the 12/256 GB version.
The Red Magic 6 Pro starts at $ 680 for the 12/128 GB version, $ 740 for the 12/256 GB version, and $ 819 for the 16/256 GB version.
The Red Magic 6 Pro Transparent Edition comes with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, at a price of $ 865.
While the higher-spec version with 18 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space is sold for $ 1,020.
