Oppo announces its flagship Find X3 Pro phone
Oppo announced its new flagship phone, Find X3 Pro, which brings two 50-megapixel cameras, a new display with an adaptive refresh rate, and the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset.
Arguably, the most impressive feature is the design of the back, which is made from a single piece of glass.
The phone has an LTPO OLED screen measuring 6.7 inches and a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels with a peak brightness of 1300 nits and a refresh rate capable of moving between 60 Hz and 120 Hz.
Find X3 Pro also has a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.
The quad rear camera features two Sony IMX766 sensors - one for the 50MP wide-angle main lens, and the other for the 50MP ultra wide-angle camera.
The main lens also provides OIS, EIS and All Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF that should provide fast and accurate focusing in all lighting conditions.
There is also a 13-megapixel telephoto lens that provides 5x hybrid zoom with a focal length of 52 mm (about 2x optical zoom) while covering the rest with digital zoom.
The 3-megapixel Microlens lens complements the set on the back, and this lens allows you to zoom in dramatically up to 60x, and even see sub-pixels through a smartphone screen or microscopic cuts on the surface.
There is one front camera with a sensor of 32 megapixels and sits inside a punch hole in the upper left corner.
Oppo Find X3 Pro also provides support for wireless charging it calls AirVOOC Wireless Flash Charge and delivers up to 30W through a dedicated stand.
The company says: It takes only 80 minutes to fully fill the 4,500 mAh battery from 0 to 100 percent.
There's also the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 wired fast charging, which moves the battery from 0 to 40 percent in 10 minutes, and should be fully charged in about 30 minutes.
Oppo Find X3 Pro comes with 5G connectivity, thanks to the Snapdragon 888 chipset and the Snapdragon X60 modem.
The phone works with the ColorOS 11.2 user interface based on Android 11, and offers stereo speakers certified by Dolby Atmos.
Oppo Find X3 Pro has one option for 12 GB LPPDR5 RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone is available in either Gloss Black or Blue Matte, and is shipped from March 30 for 1,150 euros.
