OPPO announces the F19 Pro and F19 Pro +
The OPPO brand has officially launched the F19 Pro and F19 Pro + in India, and the new devices succeed the F17 and F17 Pro from last year, and they bring many upgrades over their predecessors, including more distinctive design, improved cameras, a more powerful chipset and a larger battery .
As revealed by the leak issued last month, the two phones are largely identical in all respects, with the exception of the processor, charging speeds and 5G support.
The phones get a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, while being protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5.
There is a rear camera that includes four image sensors with a 48-megapixel OmniVision OM48B primary lens, an 8-megapixel SK Hynix Hi-846 ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel depth lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, in addition to a 16-megapixel front camera.
The camera features a lot of Oppo enhancements, including AI Highlight Portrait Video, Ultra Night Video, and a dual-vision video feature that captures shots from both the front and back cameras.
The F19 Pro runs on the MediaTek Helio P95 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB storage space.
While the F19 Pro has the most powerful MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, along with 5G support.
There is a 4310 mAh battery inside each device with VOOC Flash Charge 4.0, but charging speeds vary, so that the F19 Pro provides support for 30 watts, while the other device provides support for 50 watts.
Both phones work with the latest version of ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11, and other features of the series include an integrated fingerprint scanner under the screen, a 3.5mm headphone port, Bluetooth 5.1, and microSD card support.
The F19 Pro is sold at $ 293 for the 8/128 GB version, and at $ 320 for the 8/256 GB version, and it comes in Fluid Black, Fantastic Purple and Crystal Silver.
While the F19 Pro + is sold at $ 354 for the only 8/128 GB version, it comes in Fluid Black, Somo Blue and Space Silver.
Sales start on March 17th, and the series is available for initial order starting today.
The company also announced the global version of the Oppo Band Style fitness tracker, which comes at a price of $ 40.
The device features a metal clip design, and there is a 1.1-inch AMOLED screen with 40 options for the face, a SpO2 sensor, a heart rate sensor, IP67 protection from water and dust, and a battery life of up to 12 days.
