Officially, the date of the Arsenal and Liverpool match, due to the confrontation with Real Madrid
The English club Liverpool announced on its official website that its team match against Arsenal will be 24 hours, due to the match against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The match between Liverpool and Arsenal was supposed to take place on Sunday 4 April at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League.
After the draw for the quarter-finals of the European Champions League, the match was submitted to Saturday, April 3, at ten in the evening Cairo time, 8:00 GMT.
This came after the European Union announced the date of the first-leg match between Liverpool and Real Madrid on Tuesday 6 April at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium.
The match was presented, in order for Liverpool to get enough rest, and to travel to Spain to meet the Royal Club.
The match between Liverpool and Arsenal in the first round was last September, and ended with a 3-1 goal for the Reds at Anfield Road.
