Ocampos responds to news of Liverpool's interest in joining him in the summer
The midfielder of the first football team of Seville, Lucas Ocampos, responded to news of Liverpool's interest in joining him after the end of the current season in the upcoming summer transfer period.
The name Ocampos was associated with the possibility of moving to Liverpool in order to support the team under the leadership of Jurgen Klopp, and there were reports that he wanted to play alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
But the Argentine responded to these rumors in statements to the Spanish newspaper "Marca", and said: "My presence in Seville makes me feel happy. This is what reflects on my performance on and off the field and makes me a different player."
He continued: "Since I joined the team, Seville has given me great confidence and this is what has brought me to where I am today."
"I work hard every day to stay in Seville," Ocampos added.
He concluded his remarks: "Seville is always fighting for the big tournaments. For me as a player, it is good to feel the pressure of the competition and fight for trophies."
