Nook 10 ... a tablet from Lenovo, worth $ 130
Bookselling company Barnes & Noble has partnered with Lenovo to create an Android tablet called Nook, and the 10-inch Lenovo device features Google Kids Space in particular.
While the new Nook is meant to be a low-priced tablet, Lenovo's new design looks distinct with square edges and an aluminum back, giving it a more modern design.
In terms of hardware, this is a fairly standard Android tablet in an unspecified version with an IPS screen measuring 10.1 inches and a resolution of 1080p.
The screen features TÜV Rheinland certified eye protection to help reduce harmful blue light, and the 85 percent screen-to-body ratio (in portrait orientation) delivers thinner sides, but is thicker at the top and bottom.
There are front and rear cameras with a full metal body weighing 420 grams, as well as dual speakers supported by Dolby Atmos technology.
Inside, it is powered by an octa-core 2.3GHz processor with 32GB of storage that's expandable via a microSD card slot, and the battery is rated for up to 10 hours on a single charge.
On the front of the program, the Nook app was previously installed for books, magazines and newspapers, and there is also Kids Space, a comprehensive family experience from Google for Android tablets that features a dedicated launcher.
Lenovo's addition to the Kids Space Experience makes sense especially given who is likely to buy this tablet.
And just like previous Nook tablets, the new tablet is still powered by Android with Barnes & Noble's e-book purchase program from the popular bookstore.
And starts the price of the tablet Nook 10 by Lenovo at $ 129.99, and will be available in early April at Barnes & Noble stores and the website.
The bookseller previously partnered with Samsung about the tablets before launching on its own, and the last tablet was released in 2018, while it still sells e-ink readers.
