Manchester United reach an agreement to renew Solshire's contract
According to English press reports, Manchester United has reached an agreement with its coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on the renewal of the contract.
Solshire took over the leadership of Manchester United in December 2018 temporarily, succeeding Jose Mourinho, but his distinguished results and his ouster of Paris Saint-Germain from the Champions League made the English club trust the Norwegian and signed a contract with him.
The English newspaper "Mirror", reported that Manchester United's management fully trusts Solshire, and reached an agreement with him to renew the contract for an additional two years, with the option of extending for a third year.
The newspaper pointed out that the English club will pay the Norwegian coach 7.5 million pounds in salary in the first season, then rise to 10 million.
Solshire gets a salary of 7 million pounds with Manchester United in the season with his current contract, which is supposed to end in 2022.
Solskjaer has not won any titles with Manchester United so far, but he is competing for the European League title this season and ranks as the Premier League.
