Manchester United allocates 80 million euros to sign Llorente from Atletico Madrid
According to Spanish press reports, Manchester United is seeking to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente.
Llorente offers a distinguished level with Atletico Madrid since joining the team in the summer of 2019 from Real Madrid.
Llorente has become an indispensable piece of coach Diego Simeone's plan with Atletico Madrid this season as well, after the departure of Thomas Parte.
Spanish newspaper AS reported that Manchester United is interested in signing Marcos Llorente, and is ready to allocate 80 million euros for the player.
Manchester United wants to include Llorente, with Paul Pogba's departure approaching in the summer, as well as the possibility of Donny van de Beek leaving, with little participation under Solskjaer this season.
For his part, Atletico Madrid does not mind discussing the offer made by Manchester United, although the player wants to continue and so does coach Diego Simeone.
Llorente this season has made 36 appearances for Atletico, scoring 10 goals and 9 assists in the Spanish League and the UEFA Champions League.
