The Leipzig defender sings about Mohamed Salah and Mane before the Champions League clash with Liverpool
The defender and left back of the Leipzig first team, Angelino, praised Liverpool's attacking duo, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, just a few hours before the second leg of the Champions League round of 16.
Angelino faced Mohamed Salah and Mane more than once before moving to Leipzig, when he was a player in Manchester City until he finally joined the German club last February after a period of loan.
The Spaniard spoke about the duo in statements carried by the English "Liverpool Echo" network, and said: "Two very wonderful players at the technical level and speed."
And he continued: "Their presence with Liverpool makes a big difference. When you have two players and not one player like them, it is very wonderful. They use their speed well and also have great accuracy in shooting on goal."
He added, "As a defender, I have to focus very well in order to try to stop their danger."
And about facing Liverpool and two goals behind in the first leg, he replied: "We are in a good position before the match. The pressure on them is more than us. We are the weaker party and our chances are less."
And he continued his remarks: "Liverpool have a great team with Klopp and they did not win the English Premier League and Champions League by chance, like Virgil Van Dyck and the attacking trio."
He concluded: "We hope to present a good match in front of them, despite our knowledge of the difficulty of the confrontation."
