Klopp is convinced of Sander Berge potential to make up for Wijnaldum's possible departure from Liverpool
The Dutch newspaper "Voetbal24" reported that Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp is convinced of Sheffield United's Sander Berge midfielder.
Berg is one of Liverpool's most important goals since he was with Genk, who faced the Reds in the Champions League last season in the group stage and performed superbly.
The newspaper reported that Klopp is convinced of Berg's talent, and believes that it will be an appropriate addition to the Liverpool midfield, especially with Georginio Wijnaldum close to leaving next summer.
Wijnaldum's contract with Liverpool expires at the end of the season, and the name of the Dutchman is linked to the possibility of moving to Barcelona for free at the beginning of next July.
Liverpool and Klopp are waiting for Sheffield United's position in the Premier League because the team's relegation to the first division will reduce Berg's price a lot.
It is worth noting that Berg is on the radar of more than one English team, such as Aston Villa, Arsenal, and Tottenham, and thus the task of Liverpool is not easy.
