Ibrahimovic makes fun of the Liverpool injury crisis
AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic mocked the defensive injury crisis in Liverpool, during his appearance at the San Remo Song Festival in Italy.
The former Manchester United striker was a guest at the Italian Music Festival yesterday in its 80th edition, which takes place from 2 to 6 March.
On the opening night, Zlatan was present and took advantage of the opportunity to mock Liverpool and the injury crisis that the club is suffering from this season.
With 27 singers performing at the San Remo Festival, Zlatan highlighted the list of Liverpool's injuries when he suggested that he would have to sell 4 artists so that they could play an 11-on-11 match on stage.
Zlatan said:
"I need a theater like San Siro to play an 11v11 match, and I will sell 4 artists."
He added sarcastically:
"I will sell 4 because there are 27, and there is Liverpool looking for defenders. I will sell them to Liverpool, otherwise I will put them in the park and work there."
He concluded: "The second rule I need the theater to be 105 by 68 meters like San Siro, otherwise the festival will be canceled."
Liverpool suffers from a defense injury crisis, with trio Van Dyck, Matip and Gomez injured and absent until the end of the season, in addition to Fabino and Henderson.
Ibrahimovic: I have no problem with Lukaku!
The Swedish star, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has confirmed that he has no problem with Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku, after a strong altercation that occurred between them recently.
Ibrahimovi spoke about his participation in the Sanremo Music Festival this week and was asked what would happen if host Amadeus, an Inter Milan fan, invites Lukaku to attend.
The duo clashed during the Milan derby, in the Italian Cup, but Ibrahimovic confirmed that he had no problem with his former team-mate at Manchester United.
Ibrahimovic said in a press conference:
"If he wants to come Lukaku, he is welcome. What happens to the stadium remains on the field. There is no problem."
It was revealed that Zlatan will sing a duet with Bologna coach Cineza Mihajlovic and said that he hopes the Serbian will not be able to sing. "I hope he does not know how to sing, so we will be on the same level."
