According to Egyptian national team officials, the match will not witness a public presence, based on the instructions of the African Union.

On the other hand, only officials of the Kenyan Union and some of its employees will be present, based on the instructions of CAF.

CAF had taken a decision to prevent the presence of fans in the African matches as part of precautionary measures against the Coronavirus.

Date of the match and formation

The confrontation between the Pharaohs' national team and its Kenyan counterpart applies at exactly six o'clock this evening, Thursday. In the fifth round of the African qualifiers for the African Nations 2022.

Egypt is at the top of the Group G ranking with 8 points, on goal difference from the Comoros Islands, while Kenya is third with 3 points, and Togo comes fourth with one point.
