Coman: Talking about Xavi does not worry me about my future in Barcelona
Barcelona's first-team football manager Ronald Koeman confirmed that the media and presidential candidates talk about appointing Xavi Hernandez as coach of the Catalan giants does not fully bother him.
The name Chafee was associated with the possibility of succeeding Coman in the future, and the three candidates spoke about Juan Laporta, Tony Fricha and Victor Font about the young Spaniard in their electoral conferences, and he is the closest candidate to lead Barcelona if the Dutchman leaves.
And Coman expressed his opinion in talking about Xavi at the Seville match in the King's Cup, and said: "I am not worried, I have a contract with Barcelona, when we know the identity of the new president, he must explain to the press and the media his program."
He continued:
"We know that there are some names that have been raised in the media and the press to train Barcelona, but this does not completely bother me and my ambition has not changed since the first day."
He concluded: "I did not speak with any candidate about my future. We must wait for the next president's plan. If I do not feel there is a good project for the future, I will face many problems because I still have another year in my contract with Barcelona."
