Barcelona seeks to retake Alcantara from Liverpool
According to Spanish press reports, Barcelona is seeking to sign Thiago Alcantara, the Liverpool midfielder, during the summer transfer period.
Thiago, who grew up in Barcelona, left the Blaugrana in the summer of 2013 to Bayern Munich, before leaving the Bavarian giant after 7 years, and moving to Liverpool last June.
Spanish magazine "El Gol Digital" reported that Barcelona is keen to return the 29-year-old to the Camp Nou stadium next summer.
Thiago joined Liverpool last summer for 25 million pounds, and the Reds fans had many hopes for him.
Alcantara has so far not had the effect expected of him, has struggled to do well for Liverpool, and has been recently criticized for his performances.
Thiago, who graduated from Lamasia, won the Spanish League twice with Barcelona before leaving in 2013, and Juan Laporta, the club's president, is seeking to make his comeback.
Varane wants to leave Real Madrid ... and Liverpool is waiting
According to Spanish press reports, the French international, Raphael Varane, intends to leave Real Madrid next summer, and to experience a new experience.
Varane, who joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2011 from French Lance to the youth team, and was promoted in 2012 with coach Jose Mourinho, achieved all the tournaments he participated in with Real Madrid, most notably the 4 Champions League.
The Spanish newspaper "AS" confirmed that Raphael Varane wants to leave at the end of the season for Real Madrid and go for a new experience outside Spain, and the royal club does not mind that, in order to revive its treasuries.
Glenn Johnson, a former Liverpool defender, confirmed in statements carried by the English "Liverpool Echo" website, that the Reds are awaiting the position of the French defender in order to include him in the summer.
Liverpool is seeking to strengthen its defense after Virgil van Dyck and Joe Gomez were injured, especially since the team only has three defenders, along with the newly joined Ouzan Kabak, and the Reds do not want to repeat what happened this season.
