Arsenal legend: Al Nene made a silly mistake against Leicester City ... I didn't understand it

Despite the victory over Leicester City, Ian Wright criticized the Egyptian star Mohamed El Nani, the Arsenal midfielder, during the match between the two teams last Sunday.

Arsenal won at King Power Stadium by 3-1, and Al Nani played the match from its start, before leaving after securing the victory and entering Thomas Partey instead.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright was happy with his team's victory, but he didn't understand why the Nene had not covered Kieran Tierney in the Leicester City goal.

Wright said in statements to the British network "BBC":
"I did not understand what Alnni did in front of Telemans, Telly passed and kept running towards the goal, and the Nene did not move from his place."

He added: "Nani should have gone to cover Telemans, Jimmy Vardy was surrounded by defenders, Nani did not have to enter the penalty area to increase the number unnecessarily."

He concluded: "It was a ridiculous mistake due to a lack of concentration from the Nene. This goal could have been avoided, because Arsenal was better since the start of the match."
