American Football Player NFT digital cards sold for $ 1.6 million worth of Ethereum
NFT-minted digital cards by four-time NFL champion Rob Gronkowski were sold for 830 Ethereum (valued at over $ 1.6 million) at auction last weekend.

In total, a total of 349 cards were sold out of the 87 issues of each card shown in the photo above (an indication of the number that Gronkowski wears in his shirt).
The auction ran from last Thursday through Saturday on "OpenSea Drops", the new software for the NFT Marketplace for Big-Name Creators.
This was the third release of “OpenSea Drops”.
The first and second albums were an NFT-based album from the rock group "Kings of Leon" and "Shawn Mendes".
Rob Gronkowski was one of the first professional athletes to release NFT cards.
