Solskjær praises Lingard before confronting West Ham: he rediscovers himself
Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised Jesse Lingard for his brilliance with West Ham.
The two teams meet in the twenty-eighth round of the English Premier League, next Sunday.
Lingard left Manchester United in this year's transfer season to West Ham, on loan.
The English player managed to prove himself under David Moyes, scoring four goals and assisting two goals.
Solskjaer said in remarks published in the English newspaper "Metro":
"Yes, Lingard has really succeeded."
He added, "For David Moyes it was really successful, and for us as a club also because we know that Lingard is a playmaker, and we have Bruno Fernandez in the same position."
"So for me it made sense to give Lingard the chance to prove himself and play football again."
"Lingard has been clever with West Ham, and he's rediscovering himself," he concluded.
