ROG Phone 5 Ultimate includes 18GB of memory
Asus launched the ROG Phone 5 lineup for games and was redesigned to improve performance and ergonomics, and it now comes in multiple versions with the Ultimate version, which includes 18 GB of RAM.
ROG Phone 5:
The phone runs Android 11.0 with a Snapdragon 888 5G processor, which is coupled with 8, 12 or 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB USF3.1
There is a screen of type Samsung AMOLED measuring 6.78 inches and a resolution of 2448 x 1080 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20.4: 9 and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, where the screen can run at a refresh rate of 60, 120 and 144 Hz with automatic mode that can switch between them depending on the content.
The screen supports HDR10 and HDR10 +, is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, includes the Always-On function, and supports glove touch with 800 nits of brightness readable in the open air and reaches a peak of 1,200 nits.
The company equipped the phone with a 64-megapixel primary sensor rear camera from Sony IMX686 with Quad Bayer technology to produce 16-megapixel photos.
There is also a 12MP wide-angle secondary lens with 13MP resolution that provides 200 percent wider view and real-time distortion correction, a third 5-megapixel macro lens, in addition to a 24-megapixel front camera.
The device includes front-facing stereo speakers with Dirac HD sound supported by two Cirrus Logic CS35L45 amplifiers, for a higher, deeper and less distracting sound effect, and each can provide 21 percent more power to the amplifier compared to the previous generation.
And if you want to use a bluetooth speaker or headphone instead, the aptX Adaptive, LDAC and AAC codecs are supported.
There is a high-fidelity sound output of 384kHz via a 3.5mm port and an advanced ESS DAC 9280AC Pro for lossless audio output.
The company has provided quad microphones equipped with noise reduction technology from ASUS with a gyroscope sensor, an electronic compass sensor, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, built-in fingerprint sensor under the screen, acceleration sensor and gyro sensor.
The phone also includes ultrasonic sensors for the AirTrigger 5, grip pressure and a 6000 mAh battery that supports 65W Quick Charge 5.0 fast charging.
