Mohamed Salah: My participation in the Tokyo Olympics will be with everyone's agreement ... and my relationship with Klopp is normal
Mohamed Salah, the star of the Liverpool team, talked about the bad period they are suffering from in the current season of the English Premier League.
Liverpool is currently ranked seventh in the Premier League table with just 46 points, after playing 29 matches.
In his interview with the Spanish newspaper, Marca, Salah said: "A lot of things happened simultaneously, and luck was not on our side."
He added, "What happened in the English Premier League made us want to win the Champions League, and I hope we can achieve that."
He continued: "My relationship with Klopp? Normal between two professional people, this is how I describe it."
Liverpool meets Real Madrid next week in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Salah was asked about the biggest loser without fans, was Real Madrid in Santiago Bernabeu or Liverpool at Anfield, and Al-Masry responded: "Anfield! I think everything can say that."
He continued: "We lost a lot without our fans. I think we are the team that suffers the most due to the absence of its fans."
On the other hand, Mohamed Salah talked about the possibility of his participation in the Olympic Games in Tokyo next summer.
Egypt Olympic coach Shawky Gharib is keen to include Mohamed Salah as one of the three overage players.
When asked if he intended to play in the Olympics, Salah replied: "Whatever happens, it will be with everyone's agreement, including my team."
