L'Equipe: In front of Liverpool and Real Madrid, "money" is Paris Saint-Germain's weapon to prevent Mbappe's departure

French press reports revealed that Paris Saint-Germain intends to use a weapon of money to prevent the departure of Kylian Mbappe to any other club, in the next summer transfer season.

The young Frenchman's current contract with Paris Saint-Germain will expire in 2022.

There is no agreement yet between the Paris Saint-Germain administration and Mbabi regarding the renewal of his contract.

Mbappe was linked with the possibility of leaving the French league champions at the end of the current season, as he is on the radar of Real Madrid and Liverpool.

According to the French newspaper L'Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain intends to make every effort to keep Mbappe's services and renew his contract.

She explained that the management of the Parisian club intends to grant Mbappe a new contract under which he will receive a large salary, to prevent other clubs from joining him.

It reported that Mbappe's salary in his upcoming new contract with Paris Saint-Germain would amount to 30 million euros a year.

This represents a significant increase in Mbappe's salary, given what he is currently getting "11 million euros per season."

The newspaper indicated that the salary will be a decisive element in the negotiations to renew Mbappe's contract, but the player may take into account other factors, especially in light of Real Madrid and Liverpool's interest in contracting with him.
