Klopp after winning against Wolverhampton: The performance is ugly? The most important points ... Patricio's injury is catastrophic
Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp has confirmed that he is completely satisfied with the victory they achieved against Wolverhampton last night in the Premier League, regardless of their level of performance.
Liverpool won with a goal without a response at the end of the twenty-eighth round, at Moulinho Stadium.
Klopp said in statements published by the "BBC" global network: "It was called a victory with an ugly, bad or dirty performance. Call it as you like. It is three points."
He added: "We had very good moments, where we should have performed better. Defensively, the whole match was really good. I didn't like the start, we weren't active enough."
He continued: "It's all about the result, as I said, we defended well, we counterattacked, and there were a lot of good football moments we had, we scored a great goal, I thought their goalkeeper would save it but it was a goal in the end."
He continued: "There is a lot of good news tonight, but the most important is the three points. We want to enter the international pause and we have a positive feeling, we are already."
Klopp described the moment when Wolverhampton goalkeeper Roy Patricio was hit as tragic.
Patricio suffered a severe head injury if he collided with his colleague Connor Cody in the knee in the 90th minute.
Patricio was unconscious on the field for more than 10 minutes, before being transported on a stretcher.
And about that, Klopp said: "It was a terrible situation, I spoke to the Wolverhampton crew, they were feeling positive, the moment of injury was very heartbreaking."
