Separately, however you can save time and effort significantly by adding it to your account.

How can you easily add contacts to your Zoom account?

Where you can do this either by adding each contact one by one, or you can import contacts from another service, such as: Google, Microsoft Exchange, or Microsoft 365, then you can simply select the contacts that you want to invite to the meeting easily.

First: How to add an individual contact to your Zoom account:


By default, the Zoom contact list already contains the names of those in your organization who use the same account at the company level, but if you want to add external contacts you must invite them via email, and after he accepts your invitation, you can chat with him and share files. Does not have an account, so they can create an account when accepting your invitation.

To do so, follow these steps:

  • Open the Zoom application on your computer.
  • On the main screen, press the Contact tab at the top.
  • Press the (+) sign, then choose (Invite a Zoom Contact) from the menu.



  • On the next screen, enter the email address of the person you want to invite, then click the option (Invite).
  • A pop-up message will appear, asking you to confirm sending the invitation, press OK.
  • The other recipient will receive an email invitation with a link they have to click.
  • After doing that, he will be required to log into his account on the service or create a new account if he doesn't already have an account.
  • After logging in, he or she must click the accept button to accept your invitation.
  • The person will be automatically added to your contact list in Zoom app.


After adding it to your contact list, you can now apply many different actions, such as: Make video calls by clicking on the video icon, or you can click on the (More) More icon to do more additional actions, such as:

  • You can choose to communicate with him by video or without him.
  • Alerts you when they log into the service.
  • Star this contact as a favorite.
  • Block the contact or delete it from the list.
  • Clear chat history.


Contacts saved in your account can also be easily accessed when you want to invite them to a meeting, and to do so, follow these steps:

  • Open the application, then select (New Meeting) New Metting.
  • Click the arrow at the top next to the participants icon, then select the Invite option.
  • Your contact list will appear.
  • Click on the names of the people you want to invite, then click on the option (Invite).


Second: How to add a complete list to Contacts
:


You can add an entire address book to your contact list in the Zoom app, where you can pull contacts from other services, such as: Google, Microsoft Exchange, or Microsoft 365, and to do this, follow these steps:

  • In Zoom's main application window, tap the Contacts tab at the top.
  • On the left side of the screen that appears, click on the (Cloud Contacts) option, then click on the link below (connect a contact book).


  • You will see a tab that will pop up, containing a window that includes the three services: Google, Exchange, and Office 365.
  • Click on the service from which you want to import the contact address book.


  • Select your email account if prompted and allow the necessary access permissions.
  • You will see a message informing you that the import of contacts was successful.
  • Go back to the Zoom application again, then click on the (Cloud Contacts) option, and you will see the name of each contact in the service that you imported them from.

Note: Any additions, deletions, or modifications you make to the Contact List of the External Service will be automatically synchronized with the Zoom app.
