Aya Neo .. gaming laptop is now available on Indiegogo

Ryzen, Chinese gaming laptop startup Aya Neo, smashed its crowdfunding goal within the first few hours of its appearance on Indiegogo.

The company is currently exceeding its initial target by more than 3,067 percent, as a 512GB SSD model was sold in less than 24 hours and will not be renewed, but Aya has released another 1,000 units of 1 TB to meet the demand.

Although Aya Neo is similar to Nintendo Switch by design, it is more powerful with an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processor based on 7nm technology, with an AMD Radeon Vega 6 GPU and 16GB of RAM.

The device has a 7-inch touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, and it runs on the Windows 10 operating system, so there are no compatibility issues.

To keep the device running, there are three 4100 mAh lithium-ion cells that charge 65 watts via the USB-C port, and the company claims that the battery allows the device to work for six hours of operating time.

And the Aya Neo comes with three 10Gbps USB 3.2 Type-C ports (2 with video output and charging) and a headphone jack.

An optional $ 47 platform adds two USB 3.2 type-A ports, one HDMI port, one SD card slot, a MicroSD card slot, and an Ethernet port for connecting a mouse, keyboard, and external monitor.

And with the current settings, frame rates are expected to range between 30 and 60 fps across most games, including Cyberpunk 2077.

And you need to check system requirements for the newer games to see if Aya Neo matches it, but the company has confirmed that it is sending improvements that can help boost the frames per second rate as more games are released.

Aya originally halted its crowdfunding campaign due to a lack of inventory, and the company begins the mass production phase of the device after the supply chain problem is resolved.

And before you spend about $ 869 supporting Aya Neo, remember that this is a crowdfunding campaign and one in ten successfully funded products does not reach the market.

These represent investments in product concepts rather than a promise of a physical product in the end, however, Aya has tested proof of concept and is actively selling the device in China, which means the gaming laptop is coming to market.
