The return of the Liverpool striker is approaching
Liverpool received a strong boost with the news that the team's striker Diogo Jota is about to return to play within days.
Diogo Jota will return to group training on Wednesday, according to the Telegraph report.
Jota is likely to miss Sheffield United's Premier League match next Sunday.
The Portuguese international has been out of action for about two and a half months due to a knee injury.
Due to this injury, Jota missed 17 games in all competitions, and during the absence of the former Wolverhampton striker, Liverpool only won 6 games, and lost 7 matches.
The Portuguese player has won 10 of the 17 matches he has played with the Reds since joining Wolverhampton in the summer, scoring 9 goals during that period.
Jota's return comes in light of the decline in the level of Roberto Firmino, as the Brazilian scored one goal in the last 14 games.
Liverpool training this week could see Fabinho and James Milner return
