Salah talks about winning and scoring against Leipzig
Liverpool player Mohamed Salah spoke to the press, following the 2-0 victory over Leipzig in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, at the Puskas Arena.
Salah, who scored a goal in the match, said:
"It is good to score and win. I am very happy to score today. This match made us regain our style, and it also made us return to the road to victories."
he added:
"I think we played well, Leipzig is a difficult opponent, and we knew very well their way of playing. We have to continue because the rematch will be difficult at home and I hope to qualify."
He concluded:
"In the last match (losing 3-1 against Leicester), we played well until the 75th minute, but this is football. You have to play well for 90 minutes. I do not complain, and I hope this match will be the beginning of a return to victories."
