Rashford on the Premier League title race: We focus only on ourselves
Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford said they are only focusing on themselves without looking at leaders Manchester City.
Manchester United are currently second in the Premier League table with 49 points, 10 points behind Sky Blue.
Rashford said in statements published by the English "Sports Mall":
"We have to focus on ourselves and our performance."
The Englishman added:
"I think we have said throughout the season that we are a team that is still improving, and we learn lessons about ourselves in every game."
And he continued:
"We have to focus on ourselves and continue to present the best version of us, in the end this will make us win games."
When asked if he was looking to exceed his goals last season (22), Rashford replied: "Yes, definitely. I try to continue to advance every year, and to improve than I was in the previous season."
He continued:
"It is something I do not focus on much (exceeding his goals), but if that happens I will be happy, the most important thing is to get the positive result and win."
