Manchester United rejects West Ham request regarding Lingard
English press reports revealed that Manchester United had rejected West Ham's claim regarding Jesse Lingard.
Lingard has moved to West Ham on loan from the Red Devils, in this year's transfer season, until the end of the current season.
And soon the English player succeeded in shining with David Moyes’s battalion, scoring 3 goals and making one goal in 4 matches.
Lingard's brilliance fueled speculation that West Ham could permanently buy him from Manchester United.
However, the English newspaper "The Times" reported that Manchester United are still in complete control of Lingard's future.
She explained that West Ham wanted to include the permanent purchase clause in the Lingard services borrowing deal.
She indicated that Manchester United officials had rejected that provision, although there were great doubts about Lingard's future at Old Trafford.
Lingard has been sidelined under coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as he does not appear to be part of the Norwegian's future plans.
Lingard has a contract with Manchester United until the summer of 2022.
