Klopp: Salah is not going anywhere
Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp has confirmed that Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Reds' star, will not go anywhere.
Many reports have linked Salah with a move to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Klopp said, in statements highlighted by the British newspaper "Mirror": "Not selling Salah is very important, whether for the team or for Mo to remain with us here."
He added, "I don't have to praise my players often, but I always like to do this."
The German coach added: "But in Salah's case, his numbers speak for themselves only. He is not just a scorer. He has developed a lot on the level of football intelligence, and he is a very important player for us."
Klopp continued: "I hope that Salah will be at this level for a very long time."
And he added: "facing Sheffield? The matches that we analyzed for them show that they have improved in the last 7 or 8 meetings, and now they are also achieving results, but even before that I saw that they were not so lucky."
And he added, "It is a similar situation to us. The decline in results is not due to poor performance, but because the two teams do not make the correct decisions at crucial moments."
He concluded, "As long as my team shows that it has a desire to win or change the situation we are living in, I will fully support it."
Liverpool determines Klopp's successor
Liverpool settled on the most appropriate alternative to succeed the German coach Juergen Klopp, the Reds coach, with whom the team's results deteriorated during the current season.
Liverpool fell to sixth in the Premier League table, 22 points behind leaders Manchester City.
According to the British newspaper "Mirror", Liverpool has already determined the legend of the club, Steven Gerrard, the Scottish coach of Rangers, to succeed Klopp, if the German’s departure from Anfield is settled.
The newspaper added that the Liverpool administration fully understands that Klopp aspires to succeed Joachim Loew in coaching the German national team, with the German Federation’s desire to assign the task to the Reds coach.
The newspaper pointed out that Klopp considers coaching the German national team this time an opportunity that will not be repeated, and therefore he does not want to miss it, as he is comfortable with the atmosphere in Liverpool.
