Huawei is preparing to launch its Mate X2 foldable phone
Huawei launched two foldable smartphones, the Mate X and the Mate Xs, in February 2019 and 2020, respectively. And now new information indicates that the new Mate X2 will follow suit.
A well-known source of leaks on Weibo has revealed that the Mate X2 foldable smartphone will come "very soon" with an improved design, 5nm chipset and "cool new technology".
The Mate X2 will feature the Kirin 9000 chipset manufactured in a 5nm process. The phone has already received TENAA certification with an 8-inch screen, but the form factor is expected to change: from folded to fold inward, similar to the Galaxy Fold series.
This means that it will bring a secondary screen on the outside, so you can use the phone without having to open it.
