Aurora 7 .. a laptop that includes 7 screens

Laptop includes 7 screens

The British company named Expanscape introduced a prototype laptop called Aurora 7 with six additional screens that extend in every direction away from the main screen, each displaying their own windows and applications.

And many laptop hinges don't handle well with one connected screen, let alone seven.

Besides the main screen measuring 17.3 inches with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, there are three other screens of the same size and resolution.

There is one screen measuring 7 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels above the left and right screens, and there is also a touch screen measuring 7 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels installed in the wrist rest.

Weighing around 12 kg and measuring 4.3 inches thick, this prototype includes a mid-range Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU to power the four 4K displays.

And the Aurora 7 comes with 2 TB of hard drive storage and an additional 2.5 TB of SSD storage, plus all the ports you might need.

It also has an Intel Core i9-9900K processor and 64GB of RAM, and you can find more specifications here.

In future releases, Expanscape wants to use the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 instead of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, with options for an AMD Ryzen 9 3950x or Intel i9-10900K processor.

The Aurora 7 is primarily designed as a mobile security operations station, and the current prototype battery lasts for only one hour.

The computer uses an 82-watt primary internal battery, along with a 148-watt secondary internal battery to run the additional screens, which exceeds the FAA's legal limit for an aircraft.

Expanscape says it is working to address this in future prototypes, in other words, the company is committed to allowing you to bring the laptop with seven screens onto the plane.

The Aurora 7 looks rougher on the edges than Razer's Project Valerie triple-screen laptop, however, Expanscape claims it is willing to sell the prototype laptop.

Expanscape says: It can help parties interested in purchasing the computer to reserve a prototype. As for the price, the company requires you to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which prevents you from sharing the price publicly.
