Apple launches an extension for Google Chrome to store and save your passwords

Keeping passwords and saving them on platforms like 1password or lastpass is an excellent and secure idea. It prevents us from using the same password for everything, generates strong passwords and allows us to always have them, without having to remember complex combinations of numbers and letters.

It is a technology that must be applied on a larger scale across the globe. The truth is, Apple has now launched an official extension for the Windows and Mac versions of Chrome that allows us to save passwords in the iCloud keychain.
The idea is that those who use Safari to automatically generate strong passwords on other platforms can now be available in Chrome when asked to log in. Passwords created in Chrome for Windows will also sync to iCloud so they're available on Apple devices as well.

The extension is called iCloud Passwords and it is already available on the Chrome Web Store where you can download from this link
