Alexander-Arnold comments on the fall in front of Leicester
Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold confirmed that the team needed to convert good performance into positive results.
Liverpool continued to bleed points against Leicester City, where the Premier League champions lost 3-1 during their match in the 24th round of the Premier League championship.
During statements to the official Liverpool website, Alexander-Arnold called for rediscovering the English team's habit of converting positive performances into results and victories.
Alexander-Arnold said:
"I think we were great for 70 to 75 minutes. We put on one of our best performances. I think in the first half we didn't create a lot of clear chances, but in the second half we did and we shot and scored and were ahead."
he added:
"Then in five to 10 minutes the tables turned and this is football. It happened in an instant and the team collapsed.

"Our mentality needs to improve in those difficult situations that we went through. We performed well in the last period, all there is is that we did not get results."

"There are no excuses, but I think we are not playing badly. We played well but we did not get the results, so it is about converting those performances into results and this is probably what we need to look at."
And about the opportunity to respond in Tuesday's Champions League match against Leipzig, the right-back of Liverpool said: "Yes, in such situations, you want to have the opportunity to correct it as quickly as possible. We have a different competition with a different mentality. It will be a different task for us."
