Instagram launches a feature that helps recover photos after they have been deleted
Instagram launched the “Recently Deleted” feature, a feature that keeps photos and deleted content in a deleted folder so that it can go to the folder and retrieve pictures from it, which means that the user will be able to easily retrieve his pictures that he deleted by mistake or even when the account was hacked.
The feature keeps the photos in a separate folder for 30 days so that the user can restore them if he wants to, as the photos are visible to the account holder only, unlike other photos that appear to followers, in a similar way to the iOS application.
Instagram indicates that the main reason for launching the feature is the suffering of the owners of the hacked accounts because the hackers delete the content when the account is stolen, and thus the account owner loses the content when he restores the account again. But with this feature, he will be able to save the photos and videos in his account and restore them again if he wants.
