Motorola unveils the G Stylus, the G Power and the G Play
After weeks of leaks and rumors, Motorola has revealed the Moto G lineup for 2021, and as stated in the leaks, the lineup includes three new devices - the Moto G Play, Moto G Power and Moto G Stylus.
Moto G Stylus:
Among the three new devices, the Moto G Stylus provides the most outstanding hardware, as the 2021 version of the phone includes a Snapdragon 678 processor from Qualcomm, and it features a 6.8-inch punch-hole screen with 1080p resolution, the largest in the G series so far.
There is 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, with a microSD slot for those who need more.
The device features an improved built-in stylus that provides precise control, which features a clickable top surface that helps you to drag it from inside the phone and allows you to edit photos, take notes, draw something or highlight text and quickly copy to another application.
The phone comes with a quad-rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 16-megapixel front camera.
The main camera can record 4K videos at 30 frames per second, and the ultra-wide camera and front camera can shoot high-speed footage.
The battery capacity is 4000 mAh and supports standard charging capacity of 10 watts only, and the phone is made of plastic and features a waterproof design, and there is a fingerprint reader on the side, with a 3.5 mm headphone port.
The Moto G Stylus can be ordered today for $ 300, although the first units will begin shipping on January 13th.
Moto G Power:
The Moto G Power has a smaller screen and a larger battery compared to the Moto G Stylus, and there is no stylus, and the company claims that this device lasts for 3 days on a single charge through the 5000 mAh battery.
You get a 10-watt charger in the box, but the phone supports 15 watts, and it comes with a Snapdragon 662 processor, paired with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of storage with a microSD slot for expansion.
The device does not include a fingerprint scanner installed at the back, but has been integrated into the power button, and the device includes a 6.55-inch screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels.
The phone comes with a triple rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary lens with a 2-megapixel macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The Moto G Power can be ordered today for $ 250, although the first units will begin shipping on January 13th.
Moto G Play:
The Moto G Play is the cheapest of Motorola's three new devices, and it is equipped with a Snapdragon 460 processor, and the device comes with a dual rear camera with a 13-megapixel primary lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The device features a 6.5-inch, 720p screen with a water drop-shaped bump in the front for the 5-megapixel front camera.
There is 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, in addition to a microSD slot, and the device works with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 10 watt charging.
The Moto G Play can be ordered today for $ 170, although the first units will begin shipping on January 13th.
