A new Indian application that allows you to call for free up to 24 hours without interruption
Reliance Jio, one of the largest operators in India with nearly 400 million customers, has launched a videoconferencing app to compete with Zoom and Google Meet. This is JioMeet, an app that looks a lot like and works with Zoom, but it doesn't have paid functionality since it's completely free. The app is already available for Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and PC in some countries.
With JioMeet, you can make all the video calls you want in HD (720p), such as Zoom and Google Meet, and it supports up to 100 participants in one call. But what makes JioMeet special and what sets it apart from other suggestions in the market is that it allows for video calls of up to 24 hours, at no cost. In fact, the app does not currently offer any kind of premium payment plan.
To use JioMeet video calling service, all you need to do is download the app and register using your email or phone number. Once you do that, you'll notice JioMeet is a Zoom clone of both its interface and functions. The app protects all the video calls you make with a certain password, which you can share with other people to join your calls.
